Student Engagement
The Student Engagement team enables our students to have a voice at the College.
Through student feedback we aim to create an inclusive learning environment where students can thrive, feel comfortable and be themselves. We continually look to improve student spaces, ensuring that the right resources are available and the student’s needs are met.
We will continue to provide opportunities for students to develop outside of their vocational studies in order to increase their confidence and self-belief.
Student Representatives
Our student reps are elected to represent the voice of the student body. Their aims are to foster a sense of community, and to enhance the overall student experience.
In becoming a student rep you commit to:
- Being a role model for all students
- Advocating for the diverse interests and needs of all students, ensuring that their voices are heard and considered in college decisions
- Encouraging active participation by students in college groups, events and activities
- Organising and supporting college events, instilling a sense of social responsibility and service in all students
Student Executive Committee (SEC)
The SEC consists of a Student Administrator and a leader from each campus or Student Ambassador. Our student leaders are elected from our Student Rep groups.
To strive to create a positive, supportive, and enriching college experience for every student. We are committed to:
- Being a role model for all students
- Improving campus facilities, with a strong focus on student spaces
- Reporting feedback directly to the College Leadership Team
- Promoting college activities and initiatives.
- Increasing student engagement in college events
- Participating in sponsorship and fundraising activities
