Monday 30 June brought together apprentices, employers and the TGI Apprenticeship lecturers and team for our Apprentice of the Year and Graduation of Apprentices event. A celebration of the collaborative partnership that underpins our apprenticeship programmes across a wide spectrum of professional and vocational areas. Congratulations to all graduating apprentices, to each area’s Apprentice of the Year, and to Ellie who was named overall TGI Apprentice of the Year 2025.

Ellie is a hairdressing apprentice working at Kimmie’s Hair Design. She was described as a credit to the salon and to TGI College, taking on every challenge without hesitation with grace and character. She is always willing to help, learn and contribute positively to the salon environment.

Thanks to Alice Gill, Executive Director of Guernsey Chamber of Commerce who gave the key note presentation and to Kenrick Brooks, Head of Sales & Solutions at event sponsor Guernsey Electricity.
Kenrick kindly presented the Apprentice of the Year Trophy.
