Remembrance Day Event
For the third year, the College’s Access students will be putting on a Remembrance Day Event, on Thursday 10 November at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts.
There will be two performances: 2.00pm and 6.00pm and the event will last approximately one hour.
THERE ARE NO FURTHER SEATS AVAILABLE AT THE 2.00PM PERFORMANCE
The event is entitled Stockport and Back, and is based on the memoirs of Anne Misselke, a Guernsey evacuee in 1940 – and will feature war time music and food with poppy-based crafts available buy at a silent auction.
The event will end with a bugler playing the last post and a two minute silence.
Entrance is free, but any donations made will be for the Royal British Legion Poppy appeal.
